I love how you bring attention to the vastness of the sky always being there for us, a grounding of knowing our place in the world and the joy of being present and curious about it as it changes every day and night. When you write... When clouds dance and blues fade into streaks of fascia and fire....I can imagine the most gorgeous sunset, thank you. I've met you on Beth's BPM course - see you soon
Thank you so much! And what serendipity… I was just posting my first “sky where I am” note in a couple of weeks, the universe was watching clearly 🩵. Lovely to meet you in BPM, it’s an incredible course, I can’t believe it’s only day 4, the breakthroughs have been immense! X
I loved this piece - the sky is kind of magical. The first thing I do in the morning is stand in the garden, look up at the sky, and breathe it in. I love this little ritual, it grounds me 💫
It really is! I love your ritual. It’s the noticing isn’t it - I went through so many years of life not noticing. Thank goodness I realised eventually 🩵
Love love love this piece Louise! I’ve never been so engaged reading about the different skies , plus the research tickles my fancy on top of an already engaging read !
As you know , I love the sky so much that I named myself Skye.
One of my dreams is to see the aurora borealis, one day. But for now, I’ll stay with my magnificent Florida skies – crisp blue background with puffy white cotton clouds for starting the day and warm tangerine skies for sunset .
And tying it all together to one of my favorite topics – overthinking – made this the perfect read!
Thank you my love. I was thinking of you as I wrote about the sky(e). I'm so pleased you enjoyed it, I always wonder if I'm going too far down a research rabbit-hole, but it's all just so interesting!
My glimpse of the aurora has definitely left me thirsty for more. One day...
Florida skies are on my bucket list. For sure.
Thank you for shining your light in every word you write and every ounce of love you send out into the universe xx
I love the pictures you posted here, Louise. And yes, I wish I could see the sky more often too! Often when I am in school I have to pull the blinds down in my own classroom as if it's a sunny day the sun reflects on the whiteboard... A real shame. I think this is one of the reasons why I love going on long walks. My eyes are screaming to see beyond the computer screen x
Since moving back to the countryside I have been obsessed with going out to look at the night sky. The sheer number of stars and vastness of the sky when there is no light pollution absolutely blows my mind!

Thank you! Oh yes, it always feels sad to shut out the sun, but if we don’t it’s our own eyes that are blinded! Oh for the joy of a long walk 🥰

Stunning, isn’t it! Stars and planets and satellites everywhere, I could gaze upwards for hours ✨
I've been looking at the sky more often this week! The blue skies always make me feel good! ☀️
Yay! It really works doesn’t it. Best medicine ever x
